SPEED-ACTIVATED REAR WING
An available speed-activated rear wing helps to reduce lift and optimize the downforce balance for enhanced handling and control during high-speed driving. The wing extends at speeds above 50 mph and retracts at 25 mph.

An available Torsen®* high-capacity torque-sensing limited-slip rear differential efficiently distributes engine power to the rear axle. For those who dare to seek the extraordinary, the LC Convertible is crafted to capture your attention while stirring your senses. Featuring a meticulously designed, lightweight soft top, it maintains the same sleek silhouette as its coupe counterpart.
SOFT TOP
The soft top opens or closes in approximately 15 seconds at driving speeds of up to 30 mph. And, it can be stored without impacting luggage capacity. But its unique design doesn’t end there. To choreograph a retraction motion that’s as beautiful as it is functional, craftsmen tested more than 1,000 sequences before discovering the ideal motion.
DIMENSIONAL REAR COMBINATION TAIL LAMPS
The stunning taillamps were inspired by the dramatic glow of a jet’s afterburners. Crafted to produce an infinite mirror effect, they feature 80 LEDs on either side. This evocative design creates even, dimensional illumination with impressive depth and no visible grain. And, when turned off, a sleek gray surface is revealed.
FLUSH EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLES
The motion of the flush exterior door handles was inspired by the welcoming gesture of having a door held open for you. As you approach the vehicle, the handles gracefully extend outward, and inset LEDs illuminate. As the doors close, or after 15 seconds, the lighting fades.

The LC's low center of gravity is closely aligned with the driver's hip point. Bolstered high-back sport seats are the result of two years and 50 prototypes to achieve the ideal driving posture. The result: a connection to the road like never before.
ELLIPTICAL STEERING-WHEEL DESIGN
Since the human hand isn’t perfectly flat, we set out to design a steering wheel tailored to all its contours. An ideal profile was achieved by measuring the distribution of palm pressure during circuit driving. Then, the cross section was manipulated for the perfect shape at various points, providing optimal grip when cornering with high G-forces.
AIRFLOW MANAGEMENT AND ENHANCED ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL
Both the wind screen, positioned behind the driver and passengers, and a uniquely designed wind deflector help aerodynamically tame the air around you. The convertible features lightweight, four-layer soft top construction that minimizes creasing and road noise. Additionally, Active Noise Control can sense ambient noise within the cabin and counter it.
