All-Wheel Drive

Stay in control and in style with the available Active Torque Control all-wheel drive. This intelligent system monitors road conditions in real time, automatically shifting engine power between front and rear axles, while 100% of the power goes to the front wheels during normal driving conditions for improved efficiency. Standard on the RX Hybrid models, electronic all-wheel drive features a rear electric motor that delivers instantaneous torque to the rear wheels automatically when you need it, with no friction loss.

Drive Mode Select

Drive Mode Select enables you to make your vehicle more responsive or efficient. Sport mode alters the powertrain for faster and more dynamic throttle response and increased steering feel. Normal mode provides the optimal balance of fuel efficiency and engine performance. ECO mode moderates the throttle response, engine power output and climate settings for increased fuel efficiency. The RX Hybrid models offer the added efficiency of an EV driving mode.* Making the vehicle more efficient with a simple push of a button, EV mode enables you to drive for short distances at low speeds on battery power alone. To amplify your exhilaration, the F SPORT–only Sport S+ mode adds steering and suspension system enhancements to help provide the highest level of responsiveness.
